The Composite Patch Strain Sensor is a fiber optic strain gauge sensor specially designed for detecting defects in composite material. The sensor is embedded within the structure to measure the strain changes. Thanks to this, the composite sensor enables you to minimize the detectable damage size and keep the critical parts of the structure under constant supervision.
100% passive sensor
Since the sensor does not need the power supply, it easily monitors places without access to the power and hazardous or inaccessible areas.
Composite sensor
This FBG sensor can be made from various types of commonly used composite materials, such as carbon/epoxy, glass/epoxy, etc.
Universal platform
The strain sensor can also be used in combination with other sensors, such as temperature, inclination, vibration, displacement, etc.
